Bit of #ttc history in this @globeandmail archive photo I stumbled upon:- November 17, 1953. Toronto Yonge Subway Ready Within Four Months -- Connie Robbin, electrical foreman, is sorting out some of the thousands of tagged wires in the electric brain room. Timed roll of perforated film will run the whole subway on a pre-arranged schedule for a day at a time. — #toronto #history
